A Quality Mount Begins with Proper Field Care

Ducks & Geese

To Preserve your bird for the best mounting, wrap head in paper towels, fold head beside body, place in platic bag & Freeze until you can get to 

Turkey

Keep your bird cold and bring it to us. We will skin your bird and give you your meat back to you.  Please DO NOT FIELD DRESS YOUR BIRD!

Small Game

Place in plastic bag. Freeze or keep COLD.  Do not Cut or Clean.

Tips on care for Deer

You may wash your deer But DO NOT LEAVE THE DEER HANGING UPSIDE DOWN. Always hang your deer by the horns never by the neck, and let him drain. Do not lay your deer in the back of truck and ride around.  Your deer will go though a Heat.  Keep your deer cold and get it to the taxidermist ASAP.  Tips on skinning down below.

Don't trust yourself to skin out your deer

For $30.00 we will skin your deer out and quarter your meat up and place them in bag for pick up.

We have the deer resting in a cart. We are showing with the blue tape where the cut lines need to be.

With the deer hanging by rear feet, We start by cutting the blue line on leg back to body then up the chest.  Then began at rear feet and begin to work the skin down.

You will see that skin will fall down and everything will open up.  work skin down to the neck and take your time but keeping working down until it gets to tight and cut the neck meat.
